کتابخانه درفضای باز محوطه خانه روستایی کن خینستا ر واقع شده خانه ای که امروز به عنوان مرکز خدمات عمومی شهرداری از جمله کتابخانه از ان استفاده می شود نه تنها خود این خانه ساختمانی با ارزش و در خور نگهداری است بلکه باغ پیرامون و فضای سبزآن با درختان چندین سا له هم برای شهر ا رزشی نمادین دارد  . مشکل ا ساسی این پروژه قرار دادن ساختمانی جدید با وسعتی حدودm2 1000 در این محوطه بود که طبق خواسته شهرداری می باید ورودی مشترکی با خانه ی روستایی داشته باشد و بنابراین در همان امتداد قرار گیرد در غرب خانه روستایی که شیب زمین تند تر است چند ساختمان متصل به خانه اصلی ساخته شده اند که ارزش زیادی ندارد و زمین انها می توانست بخشی از طرح کتابخانه را در خود جای دهد و در عین حا ل فضای ارتباط دهنده بین خانه وستایی و ساختمان جدید باشد.

About the Author: Roger Fowler is Professor English and Linguistics at the University of East Anglia. He has written many books on language and literature, including Literature as Social Discourse (1981), Language in the News: Discourse and Ideology in the Press (1991) and he is the editor of the Dictionary of Modern Critical Terms (Routledge, 1990).
